Not Perfect, Not Polished, Still Worth Being.

I’m Elisabeth “Lis” Thomas, founder and editor of Womanhood Unwrapped. I created this space because real life rarely looks the way we thought it would, and women deserve somewhere to tell the truth about it. Here, I write about motherhood, ambition, identity, loss, resilience, and the complicated beauty of building a life while living it.

I am also the founder and CEO of Summary Content Marketing, the agency I have owned since 2013, and a co-host of the Stages of She podcast. But titles only tell part of the story. At my core, I am a writer. I have always tried to make sense of the world by putting words around what feels too heavy, too messy, or too meaningful to hold alone.

I am currently in treatment for stage IV melanoma, learning firsthand how fragile and stubborn life can be at the same time. I continue to work, parent, love, and create in the middle of uncertainty, because there is no pause button for real life. I share pieces of this journey not to be brave, but to be honest, and in the hope that someone else might feel less alone in their own hard season.

I am a wife and mother of two, which is both my greatest grounding force and my fiercest motivation to keep going. I run on strong coffee, fresh air, long walks, and the refuge of a good book. I believe our stories matter, especially the unfinished ones, and that telling the truth about our lives can be a quiet act of courage.
