Elisabeth (Lis) Thomas launched the Womanhood Unwrapped community after years of struggling and learning as a working mom. The idea started in a supply closet when she was pumping milk on her lunch break for her daughter who was at home with a babysitter while she was at the office. In the midst of that nursing, working, and surviving the baby phase of motherhood, Lis thought, “there’s got to better support out there for working moms and ambitious women.

After trying out a variety of different roles with her two kiddos, and realizing they just didn’t work with family life, Lis finally launched the blog and community she had envisioned years earlier.

It’s a blog for and by women, about the real stuff we go through in our lives.

Lis is also the owner of Summary Content Marketing — a marketing boutique. She launched the blog originally as Entreprenista Mama, and in 2021 renamed the platform Womanhood Unwrapped.

In her downtime, you’ll find Lis working as a substitute teacher, carting her kiddos around to various activities, and enjoying the outdoors of Central Oregon, with her hubby, friends, and family.
