The Lifestyle Monthly Wrap-Up for Women: May 2024
Dear you,
Can you believe it’s almost the end of May? I don’t know about you, but so far, 2024 has been flying by.
I’m getting so excited for summer, camping, traveling, and spending time with my kiddos away from the hustle of the school year.
So, in anticipation of the summer fun to come, here’s your Womanhood Unwrapped monthly lifestyle wrap-up for May 2024.
Books to Read
For all of you book lovers out there. I love a mix of listening to books on Audible and reading hard copies. Here are the books I’m reading right now:
For Fun - Throne of Glass Series, by Sarah J. Maas
For Business - How to Write a Business Plan for Beginners, by Richard Hedberg
For Your Mindset - The Intuitive Way, by Penney Peirce
To Add to Your Closet
Is it just me, or does it seem like your closet needs to shift a little each month? With summer approaching, here are the staple items I am drooling over this month:
Podcasts to Follow & Download
There’s nothing better than a good podcast find. Here are the podcast episodes that I thoroughly enjoyed this month:
Fat Mascara - What Skin Cancer Looks Like. New Ways to Find and Treat It
Becoming Wise - Releasing Anger as an Act of Self-Compassion | Sharon Salzberg & Robert Thurman
Stages of She - From Chance Encounters to Life Changing-Moments: Learning to Embrace the Unexpected
Note: I host the Stages of She podcast with two co-hosts. It’s a podcast all about the different phases and experiences in women’s lives from the perspective of three women in different generations. Listen now, and leave us a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review!
What to Add to Your Pantry
It’s always awesome to find new products for my pantry to support my family's dietary health and wellness. Here’s what I added in the past month:
Trace Minerals ZeroLyte Electrolyte Drink Mix - The salty watermelon flavor is perfect for summer
Elemental Superfood Seed Bars - Full of good ingredients, no additives
Rummo Italian Gluten-Free Pasta - You won’t even miss the gluten
Blogs Should You Follow
These women in blogosphere are worth checking out. Whether writing about business, lifestyle, health and wellness, or personal development, these blogs are worth reading:

Women in the News
There’s nothing better than seeing women collaborating, expanding, and making a difference in the world right now. Here are a few news-related stories for women from the past month:

From the Desk of Womanhood Unwrapped
It’s all fun and games until you have to stick with it. Am I right?
Having been in marketing for over 15 years now, as a working mom, an editor, and a writer of Womanhood Unwrapped, it may not surprise you to know that sometimes I bite off more than I can chew.
I always know this is the case when I start letting the little things slide and have a hard time focusing on how to be strategic.
But here’s the thing: I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I love constantly learning and challenging myself. I love the uncertainty that sometimes comes along with trying new things.
But it can also get really tough sometimes to keep up with all the things that I’ve signed up for in my life.
So if this resonates with you, maybe this next month, try to focus back in by asking the following of yourself regularly:
Does this serve my soul's purpose?
Will I gain joy from doing this?
Am I going to have to give up something more substantial?
May your next month be filled with summer warmth and inspired moments.
